Note: If images appear too small to read try adjusting your Internet settings. In Internet Explorer click on Tools and then click on Internet Options... Click on the Advanced tab and locate the Multimedia section. Uncheck Enable Automatic Image Resizing. Click OK. Refresh your screen and the screen image should display better.
Depending on when you visit this page the final result used on Monday's call will most likely be slightly different than now. Mark will also be posting a Zip file that will allow you to begin using these files immediately by the middle of next week.
Here is the order that we recommend you create new files:
Custom Fields (we will be integrating custom fields in to other screens shortly)
FL Broker Contract Disclosure (to get license number and time to commit now also on the bottom of page three of the 1003)
If needed you can also input the NY forms, the 4506 or the AUS pages for either FNMA or FHLMC.
You might want to install the custom screens but we strongly recommend that you review them first to make sure that they will help you originate new loans.
Step One - Backing Up Your Existing Encompass Screens
Right click on start and choose Explore. Click the Program
Files folder in the left column. Click on the Encompass folder also
in the left column. Click on the documents folder in the same column.
Finally click on forms right below documents.
While the folder named forms is highlighted click on File from the menu
bar and point to New and click Folder. Call this new folder
Orginal Encompass Screens. Highlight all of the existing files in the forms
folder in the right hand column and after highlighting them all, right click one
of the files and choose the option Copy. Double click the folder you
created and then right click anywhere inside the folder area and choose Paste.
You should now see all of your original Encompass screens backed up to this
folder.
Step Two - Installing Your New Screens
First, you should have realized that your existing forms folder is still the
same as it was since we copied files and didn't move them. Download this file,
ambscreens.zip, to your Desktop (simply
right click the file and click Save Target As... and then choose the
Desktop and click Save). Go to your Desktop and locate the newly
downloaded file and double click it to open it. Assuming you installed Encompass
to its default directory you can simply extract the Zip file's contents to your
C:\ drive (your root directory). In the Extract dialog window make sure to
select All Files and check Use folder names. The files will go
where they are supposed to go. If you don't get a notification prompting you to
overwrite an existing file you did not extract the files to correct location.
Optional Step Three - Deleting AMB's Customized Screens
To restore your system to Ellie Mae specs simply Explore to the Orginal
Encompass Screens, select all of the files and then copy and paste them back
into your forms folder. Your system has been restored.
Please call AMB's IT Department if you require support for your default
installations of Encompass. If you customized your installation you should call
your IT support team.
